Mr. Michael Klump, Principal


Mr. Klump is the chairman and co-founder of RCG Ventures, LLC. Most recently, he served as Vice Chairman of Equity Investment Group (EIG), a leading private real estate investment trust that focused on the neighborhood shopping center market. Mr. Klump co-founded EIG in 1993 and guided it through approximately 120 acquisitions over a nine-year period. By 2002, EIG boasted a portfolio containing some 17 million square feet in 32 states and valued at approximately $850 million.

In December 2002, Mr. Klump caused EIG to sell 58 of its centers to New Plan Excel Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: NXL) for approximately $437 million. Mr. Klump continues to serve in an advisory capacity to EIG, as well as to Highland Capital Group, a company in which he is invested, which focuses on the sale/leaseback market.

Furthermore, Mr. Klump founded Argonne Capital Group (ACG) in 2003. Mr. Klump leads its investment and capital raising activities. In August 2004, ACG acquired the largest IHOP franchisee in the United States

Mr. Klump's earlier experience included all phases of real estate development, acquisition, leasing and financing with Leo Eisenberg & Company and real estate principal investing with MAK Investments, Inc. Mr. Klump received a B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1987.
