Mr. Scott Werbel, Acquisitions Officer/Note Purchaser


Scott Werbel is an Acquisitions Officer with an emphasis on sourcing mortgage notes for RCG Ventures, LLC. Mr. Werbel has over 21 years of experience in commercial real estate.

Trimont Real Estate: Mr. Werbel served as Asset Manager with Hatfield and Philips currently known as Trimont Realty Advisors. As an Asset Manager under contract with Resolution Trust Corporation, he was involved with debt restructure, workouts, foreclosures and bankruptcies of numerous portfolios of distressed assets throughout the US.

Lennar Partners (LNR): Mr. Werbel was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Lennar Partners (LNR), a national commercial real estate company. He headed a disposition team which restructured, foreclosed and sold nearly $400 million in distressed assets (REO and Loans).

Equity Investment Group: Mr. Werbel worked as the Vice President of Acquisitions of a private retail REIT. Mr. Werbel acquired 27 retail properties during a 30 month period. He also directed an acquisition team based in Atlanta. The properties were located in the Southeastern and Northeastern US.

Impressa Group, LLC: Mr. Werbel worked for Impressa Group as the Owner/Founder of this retail and multi-family acquisition company. Impressa Group acquired value-add and stabilized properties throughout the Southeast and Northeast. While also providing Equity and Debt Capital to Real Estate Developers and Investors for Acquisition and Development.

RCG Ventures: In 2011, Mr. Werbel joined RCG Ventures to head up the Note Purchasing and use his specialized experience as an Acquisitions Officer.

Mr. Werbel graduated from the Virginia Technical University with a B.A. in Architecture and graduated with a M.A. in Real Estate from Georgia State University.
